XerJoff – XJ 17/17 – Stone Label – Pikovaya Dama Parfum 100 ml
As one of the first ambassadors of Italian luxury perfumes, Sergio Momo conquered Russia more than ten years ago with his excellent and refined XERJOFF perfumes. Many other brands followed and many also disappeared, but XERJOFF has proved to be a constant factor in which the recent opening of the XERJOFF boutique in Moscow is the crown on the work of XERJOFF in Russia.
On this occasion XERJOFF introduces the perfume PIKOVAYA DAMA in the XJ17-17 collection.
The new perfume is based on Pikovaya Dama (Queen of Spades); an opera from 1890 by Pyotr Tchaikovsky based on a short story from 1834 by one of the greatest Russian poets; Aleksandr Pushkin. It is a story that was destined to resonate in Russian history on a broad cultural level.
Despite the brevity, this story is complex and versatile. It is about a secret, a mysterious series of three playing cards, the spirit of an old noble woman and a young, ambitious and greedy soldier.
Pikovaya Dama is performed in spectacular opera performances with various breathtaking scenarios. XERJOFF has now translated this intriguing story, based on the art and knowledge of luxury and culture, into a precious perfume.
PIKOVAYA DAMA – THE PERFUME
PIKOVAYA DAMA opens with the vibrancy of Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian lemon. They represent the Italian origin of the XERJOFF brand. Then the fresh and penetrating scent of coriander in combination with popular spices from Russian cuisine. The softness of the Bulgarian rose and neroli and the refined nuances of Turkish iris and Atlas cedar wood. The heart is ambivalent; it is masculine and feminine. After a few hours the patchouly, Ceylon sandalwood in combination with incense from Oman, musk and Bourbon vanilla appear.
